About RACEPACE
The Racepace Sportswear company was founded in 2013 by Martin Droskie. Racepace is a provider of custom made sports apparel situated in Diep River, Western Cape. On the backbone of two retrenchments and a high bank account overdraft, Martin and Michele Droskie started the business in their garage. Initially, all processes were outsourced. Within
3 months, a designer joined and within less than 2 years, a bank loan was received, the factory opened and staff began to increase. From then onwards, all processes were done in-house and the team was complete.
They are determined to create innovative designs and clothing that can be used by athletes from beginners to the most professional. The quality services they provide include design, branding of items and manufacturing of garments. Not only do they strive to create affordable and sustainable clothing, but the impact that they have on their local community speaks highly of their values. The standard that they have set
for themselves is exemplary. Year by year, the company continues to grow and expand.

Management
We developed a web application to allow our Client, RacePace, to be able to allow their customers to order bespoke clothing and keep track of their orders throughout the production process. They are able send quotation requests, receive feedback and accept or decline designs, all while constantly being kept in the loop.
The second part of our web application is a quality management system, where staff and managers are able to log issues along the production process and attach relevant media. This is all stored and used to track bottlenecks and help speed up their production line. The system also allows for reports to be run on both orders and issues, by compiling all the collected data from Racepace's staff members.
